DROGA PHARMA PLC, established in 2015, is a major importer and distributor of pharmaceutical products in Ethiopia. With over 400 employees and a growing chain of pharmacies and physiotherapy clinics, we are currently hiring a Cashier Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
The Cashier Accountant will handle daily financial transactions and reconciliation. Key duties include:
- Sales Recording: Record credit and cash sales in the system.
- Collections: Collect bank documents, record payments, and issue Cash Receipt Vouchers (CRV).
- Reconciliation: Reconcile VAT balances between system, cash register, and manual invoices daily.
- Petty Cash: Effect payments, request replenishment, and send settlement documents to Accounts Payable.
- Reporting: Follow up on credit balances and report to the Senior Accountant (AR).
- Documentation: Proper filing of financial documents and handover to customers.
- Account Lettering: Perform customer account matching.
Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Education: BSc Degree or Diploma in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university or college.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 Year relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail in financial recording.
