The British Office Sudan (BOS), primarily based in Addis Ababa, is seeking a high-caliber professional for the position of Finance & HR Officer (HEO). This is an exciting leadership opportunity bridging financial operations and human resources strategy.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
The job holder will report to the Deputy Head of Mission and manage dual functions:
1. Finance Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts, budget forecasting, and monitoring monthly spends.
- Ensure financial compliance, asset verification, and end-of-month procedures.
- Lead financial transition/legacy challenges from Khartoum/Port Sudan.
- Monitor sanctions policies and engagement with Sudanese Banks.
2. HR Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction, and contracts.
- Maintain HR databases, payroll, employee benefits, and reward packages.
- Support line managers with performance management and HR queries.
- Coordinate with Regional HR Hubs in Pretoria.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: University Degree in Finance, HR Management, Business Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 Years of managerial experience in Finance or HR in an international organization, embassy, or private sector.
- Skills: Strong business acumen, financial analysis, and people management skills.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Sudan’s banking/HR regulations and experience in both Finance and HR roles.
