About The EdPro Center

Located in Ethiopia’s ICT Park, the Education Production (EdPro) Center is Shayashone’s new hub for advancing digital education. Its mission is to develop high-quality, inclusive digital learning resources and localized online courses. The center will provide training in multimedia and instructional design, supply advanced educational technologies, and offer research and consultancy, positioning itself as a key partner in transforming education in Ethiopia and beyond.

Current Job Openings

We are seeking to fill four foundational roles for the EdPro Center. Find the position that matches your expertise below.

1. Education Production Center Manager

As the strategic leader, you will guide the center’s vision, oversee all operations, and drive business development to position the EdPro Center as a leader in digital learning solutions.

• Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the center’s strategic vision, lead content design and quality assurance, supervise daily operations, drive business development and fundraising, and build a culture of creativity and innovation.
• Education: Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in education or digital content development.
• Expertise: Strategic leadership, EdTech integration, donor engagement, and team management.

2. Videographer & Production Manager

You will lead the center’s audiovisual production, translating educational concepts into dynamic and engaging video content from script to final delivery.

• Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end video production, develop production schedules, provide creative direction, review and edit footage, and supervise junior production staff and interns.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in video production and project management.
• Expertise: Video production and editing, creative direction, operation of filming equipment, and team supervision.

3. System Administrator

You will be the technical backbone of the EdPro Center, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of its IT infrastructure and digital learning platforms.

• Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain servers and networks, manage databases and applications (like LMS platforms), implement cybersecurity protocols, provide user support, and establish disaster recovery plans.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years in system administration and IT security.
• Expertise: System and server management, database administration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

4. Graphic Designer

You will shape the visual identity of the EdPro Center, creating compelling graphics, infographics, and illustrations that make educational content accessible, attractive, and effective for all learners.

• • Key Responsibilities: Create designs for educational content and communications, develop infographics and illustrations, ensure brand consistency, and collaborate with instructional designers and videographers.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional design experience, preferably in education or non-profit sectors.

* Expertise: Graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), brand identity management, and UX principles.
