The Ethiopian Airlines Group is pleased to extend an invitation to suitably qualified candidates from abroad for the position of Expat Captain (B777/787).

Status: Foreign Captain B777/787

• Eligibility A prerequisite
1. Must possess an active, valid ICAO ATPL/CPL or JAA/FAA
2. Reliable 777/787 type evaluation
A minimum of 3,500 hours must be flown in total.
Of the total flying hours, 2500 hours were spent as the pilot in command of a jet aircraft, and more than 500 hours were spent in command of a 777/787.
4. Language competency: at least an ICAO level 4 in English.
5. Age: Not older than sixty years
Note: Applicants must submit a scanned copy of their substantial documentation, such as a valid medical certificate, a valid ATPL or CPL, a copy of their log book showing the total number of hours they have flown, and a licence authentication letter from the relevant country’s Civil Aviation Authority, along with their CV or application form. Applicants must also be current and qualified, meaning they must have completed their last proficiency check within the last three months. They need to have a passport that is valid for two years, a current, valid medical certificate, no medical history of accidents or incidents, and excellent English language proficiency.

CONCERNING THE JOB POSITION: Requirements for Associate Leadership Instructor Qualification:
A BA degree in business administration, management, human resources, management, public administration, and development management, or any other field of study from an accredited university or college, is required. Additionally, there must be a minimum of three (3) years of work experience as an instructor or trainer in a university, college, training institute, leadership institute, or other relevant field.
or an MA/MBA in human resource management, an MA in leadership studies, or any related field of study from an accredited university, college, or institute plus one (1) year of experience working as a trainer or instructor at a university, college, training institute, or institute.
English proficiency in the ET working language is required.
