• Prepare, write, and package RFQ, RFP, and SOQ responses for project opportunities and verify that all minimum requirements are met before submission

• Attend pre-proposal meetings as requested

• Write, proofread, and edit proposal content and boilerplate information, including cover letters, company overviews, technical staff resumes, project descriptions, graphics

• Prepare interview presentations and attend interview rehearsals, working alongside the project team to develop strategies/messaging for each interview

• Organize and update marketing, client, and project database

• Maintain firm branding standards on materials and communications

• Update social media information and create written/video content for social media platforms

• Plan, organize, and attend internal and external events with organizations and for the company

• Plan, organize, and attend groundbreakings, progress job site visits, and grand openings at projects

• Organize final project photography

• Write, request, and send letters of recommendation to clients, architects, subcontractors

• Create and send external client/designer satisfaction surveys

• Research, present, and order marketing swag for clients, events, and internal; keep inventory

• Organize and order internal swag and clothing for employees; keep inventory

• Collaborate with third-party website manager to update website information

• Develop relationships in the industry to help promote the firm and services

• Participate in business development and promotional activities

• Active involvement in professional and community organizations, including SMPS

• Other duties required to support the Marketing Department

Job Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Architecture and Engineering industry or construction sector

• Technology Savvy • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Word & Windows Platform

• Fluent in Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc)

• Ability to work independently and as a self-starter • Ability to fulfill stringent deadlines and manage time efficiently

• Must be detail-oriented and a plannerExcellent writing and spoken communication abilities • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to achieve deadlines
