Position: ACCOUNTANT
About You
- B.A degree in Accounting and Finance and other related fields
- With a minimum of 3 years’ direct experience in merchandising/construction/manufacturing companies/factories
Competencies:
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practice with Ethiopia tax law
- Proven expertise and practical experience in Peachtree Accounting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team work

Duties:
- Manages the day to day accounting transaction
- Records daily sales transactions and expense with Peachtree
- Undertakes reconciliation and posting subsidiary ledgers with general ledgers
- Prepares /Check cash payments and cash receipt voucher with the appropriate documents
- Prepares ,Check , reconcile and declare Income tax, Pension Contribution, Withholding tax, cost sharing, stamp duty and VAT to the appropriate government Organization monthly
- Maintains and controls stock
- Posts incoming and outgoing stock into the system
- Reconciles inventory accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepares weekly, monthly, annual reports for inventory valuation
- Prepare Journal Voucher monthly
- Prepares and check daily laborer payroll Weekly/biweekly
- Prepare Employee salary (including payroll reconciliation)
- Prepares and follows up of Daily cash Flow
- Maintains fixed asset record
- Prepares Weekly and Monthly management reports
- Supports closing of annual financial report
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Salary: Negotiable
