About Siket Bank S.C.
The journey of Siket Bank began as the Addis Ababa Job Creation Project Office, established in 1996 G.C. to provide financial services to poor people in the city who could not access formal banks. This project office was transformed into a microfinance institution named Addis Credit and Saving Institution S.C. in 2000 G.C., based on the National Bank of Ethiopia proclamation No. 40/96.
Starting with 5 branch offices and 85 employees, the institution grew rapidly. Based on a new directive from the National Bank of Ethiopia, Addis Credit and Saving Institution successfully transformed into Siket Bank S.C. and acquired its banking business license.
The bank has shown outstanding continued growth. By the 2024/25 budget year, Siket Bank has achieved:

Available Positions
1. Branch Manager (5 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA/BSc (or MA/MSc) in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Management, or related field with 8 years of relevant banking experience, of which 2 years is as Branch Manager, Customer Service Officer, or equivalent.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: To ensure that the overall banking operational and business activities of the branch are performed as per the Bank’s policy, guidelines, and other pertinent regulations.
- Place of Work: At Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Bahir Dar, Shashemene and Hawassa Branches.
2. Cashier (5 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, or related field with 2 years of work experience as a Junior Officer or relevant position (Mandatory).
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Cash management Activities, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: The job holder is responsible for cash management activities of the branch office.
- Place of Work: At Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Bahir Dar, Shashemene and Hawassa Branches.
3. Customer Service Officer (10 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of work experience as Junior Customer Service Officer or in a relevant position (Mandatory).
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by serving clients with due care and maximum efficiency, and supporting the branch’s resource mobilization effort by cross-selling the Bank’s products.
- Place of Work: At Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Bahir Dar, Shashemene and Hawassa Branches.
4. Branch Controller (5 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of Banking work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Identify, assess, and respond to root-caused threats or operational gaps of branch transactions; control activities by testing controlling tools and recommend in order to take proactive, detective, and corrective internal control measures.
- Place of Work: At Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Bahir Dar, Shashemene and Hawassa Branches.
5. Junior Customer Service Officer (5 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: The job holder is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by serving them with due care and maximum efficiency.
- Place of Work: At Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Bahir Dar, Shashemene and Hawassa Branches.
6. Interest Free Banking (IFB) Officer (5 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related field of discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Responsible for enhancing the activities of Interest-Free Banking products and services by monitoring the delivery and effectiveness of IFB products.
- Place of Work: At Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Bahir Dar, Shashemene and Hawassa Branches.

7. Senior Product Development Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of MA Degree in Marketing Management, Management, Economics, or a related field; OR a minimum of BA Degree in the same fields with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Attention to detail, Presentation Skill, Effective communication (written and reading), Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Responsible for conducting research to define a strategic network for product development and pricing strategy, and ensuring the profitability and productivity of existing products.
- Place of Work: At Head Office.
8. Junior Business Research Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Economics, Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related field with 0 years of related work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Responsible for applying the process of Market Research to support the Bank’s initiatives and marketing campaigns.

9. Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Economics, Management, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.

- Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the strategic intent of the Bank by participating in annual strategy reviews, business planning, budget preparation, annual performance evaluation, and annual performance review.

10. Strategy Implementation and Monitoring Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum of BA degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Responsible for monitoring and championing the execution of the bank’s strategic plan. This involves monitoring implementation of strategic initiatives, coordinating planning, and analyzing/evaluating the performance of different strategic initiatives.

11. Attorney Officer (3 Positions)
- Qualification & Experience: A minimum LLB degree with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Competency: Demonstrated Integrity, Communication Skill, Banking Operation Knowledge, Customer Satisfaction, Litigation demonstration skill, Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Job Summary: Responsible for managing legal risks, client/dispute resolution, and providing guidance on regulatory compliance and internal policies. This role requires a thorough understanding of banking laws, financial regulations, and the ability to advise senior management on legal matters.
- Place of Work: Markato, South West and West Districts.
- Note: Knowledge of Afaan Oromo Language is mandatory for South West and West District positions.
