About Africa Insurance Company (S.C.)

Africa Insurance Company (S.C.) is a privately owned composite insurance company, first established on December 8, 1994, in accordance with the national Insurance Business Proclamation (No. 86/1994) and the Commercial Code.

Beyond our core insurance business, we are actively engaged in investments, including bonds, equity shares, and other strategic areas that strengthen our business.

Since our founding, we have seen massive growth. The company began with a subscribed capital of Birr 30 million and a paid-up capital of Birr 15 million. As of June 30, 2025, our paid-up capital has grown to Birr 603 million.

1. Manager, Risk & AML/CFT Compliance Management Service

  • Required Qualification: MA/BA in Management, Accounting, Banking and Insurance, Economics, or related fields. Professional certification (ACII, LOMA) or related is a plus.
  • Required Work Experience: 10/12 years of relevant work experience, of which 3 years must be in a Senior Position.
  • Place of Work: Addis Ababa (Head Office)

2. Strategic Management and Controlling Supervisor (Re-Advertised)

  • Required Qualification: BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • Required Work Experience: 6 years of relevant work experience. Experience in the insurance industry is preferable.
  • Place of Work: Addis Ababa (Head Office)

3. Marketing and Product Development Supervisor (Re-Advertised)

  • Required Qualification: BA Degree in Marketing Management, Banking & Insurance, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
