The Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD), a leading non-governmental organization established in 2005, is hiring a highly qualified Project Coordinator. Funded by UNFPA, this role focuses on making reproductive health services accessible for youth with disabilities across Ethiopia.
🔥 Position Highlight: This is a high-impact role for a female professional with a background in Public Health or Medicine. The coordinator will manage the AHEAD Project in 5 major cities: Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Bahir Dar, Wolaita Sodo, and Arba Minch.

Key Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of SRH activities. Key duties include:
- Project Management: Plan and manage AHEAD project activities, track progress, and ensure efficient fund utilization.
- Strategic Guidance: Develop annual work plans and ensure alignment with the National Adolescents and Youth Health Strategy (2021-2025).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government bodies, donors, and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs).
- Reporting: Prepare high-quality reports for donors and government signatories.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Work with the MEL team to track project outcomes and impact indicators.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, or Doctor of Medicine (MD), or related health field.
- Minimum 3 Years of experience in Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) interventions.
- Strong understanding of the Ethiopian health system.
- Experience working with persons with disabilities is desirable.
Required Skills
- Excellent Leadership and Team Management skills.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to negotiate and build relationships at a high level.
