We would like to extend an invitation to prospective candidates to apply for the following employment position: Junior Mechanic, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. The establishment of the State Bank of Ethiopia in 1942 marks the beginning of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia’s (CBE) history. In 1963, CBE was formally founded as share firm. Since then, it has been actively contributing to the advancement of the country.

With more than 1948 branches, CBE currently has more over 38.9 million account holders. The number of consumers using its mobile and online banking services has also surpassed 6.6 million and 37 million. More than 8.3 million and 17 million CBE Birr clients are active ATM card holders.

Position: Junior Mechanic

Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience: Diploma in Auto Mechanics, Mechanics/Auto Electric or any other related fields and 2nd grade or equivalent driving license with four years of experience in the field.

Place of Work: Head Office

Salary and Benefits: As per the Bank’s salary scale.

Term of Employment: Permanent

• Candidates who have successfully completed the recruitment process will be expected to authenticate their academic documents from the concerned higher institution by themselves with in six-month period after he/she has joined the Bank;

• If mischief incidents observed/reported in relation to the submitted academic credential, years of graduation, cheating on examination or any other illegal acts during the recruitment process, the Bank has the right to disqualify the applicant even after he/she has joined the bank;
