1. IYCF Supervisor

Role Summary: Ensure the integration of Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) in emergencies with overall Nutrition and Health services.

  • Education: BA Degree in Nutrition, Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years professional experience in IYCF. Experience in NGOs is required.
  • Key Duty: Coordinate IYCF strategies, provide nutrition education, and enhance health outcomes for mothers and children.

2. Health System Strengthening Officer

Location: Afar Region (Five Angels PHC)

  • Education: BSc Degree in Nursing or Health Officer.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in PHC; 2 years managing health services operations.
  • Key Duty: Ensure quality health care services, perform quality control checks, and support capacity building for clinic staff.
  • Language: Fluent in Afar, Amharic, and English.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Key Duty: Dispense medications, manage pharmaceutical supplies, prevent stockouts, and advise health workers on rational drug use.

4. Nutrition Officer

Role Summary: Ensure quality nutrition services for vulnerable refugee and host populations.

  • Education: BSc Degree in Nursing, Health Officer, or Nutrition.
  • Experience: At least 3 years working at a PHC; 1 year managing nutrition services in an NGO.
  • Key Duty: Coordinate CMAM and IYCF activities, supervise therapeutic feeding programs, and ensure coverage targets are met.

  • Skills: Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems (Sage/Unit4).
