Ethiopia’s Ministry of Water and Energy is a government agency tasked with overseeing large- and medium-scale irrigation, power production, sanitation, natural and artificial energy resources, and water resources. As a regulatory authority, the Ministry prepares and implements policies, initiatives, programmes, sector-specific rules and regulations, as well as plans, develops, and manages resources. Additionally, it carries out research and study projects and offers technical assistance to local water and energy bureaus. It negotiates and signs international agreements pertaining to transboundary water resources and regional developments that are relevant to the industry.
A Minister and State Ministers oversee the Ministry. The sectors of water supply and sanitation as well as energy research and development are overseen by the state ministers.

First Position: Senior Business Analysis and IT Strategy Officer Experience & Qualifications:
It is necessary to have at least six (6) years of experience in system development in addition to a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or information technology.
Professional IT training (an added benefit)
The job holder will oversee requirement gathering, unit testing, bug fixes, and the installation of developed or customized applications as part of their responsibility for managing the IT strategy and business analysis activity. In addition, by safeguarding the Bank’s enterprise IT solutions, s/he is in charge of guaranteeing the privacy, accessibility, and integrity of systems, apps, and data. He or she establishes and monitors software development measures’ operational efficacy, ensures system development quality controls are in place, and addresses potential violations.

Relationship Manager II (IFB) Position 2: Experience & Qualifications:
BA At least nine (9) years of experience in the banking industry, with three (3) of those years spent in a supervisory capacity, are required. A degree in accounting, economics, business administration, or a similar discipline is also required. Understanding of sharia regulations is required.
Summary of Work:
In addition to providing advice and drafting contracts and other legal documents, the job holder is in charge of representing the Bank before judicial and quasi-judicial tribunals, preparing cases (pleading, defences, and petitions), and managing and processing foreclosure cases.
The work location is in Addis Ababa (V. No. HO/01343/23).
Proficiency in computer operation is a necessary skill.
