Duties
Coordinates with the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF), US Embassy, and service providers in Ethiopia to assist in the contracting process for various training missions and equipment deliveries, including support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Building Partner Capacity BPC) cases. Prepares and maintains correspondence to and from the host nation, United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), ENDF, other nations providing security assistance, the Defense Attaché Office, and other U.S. Government offices. Prepares and maintains reports and document files as required for efficient office operation. Translates as needed for meetings and presentations, to include military presentations or instruction. Establishes and maintains office library of related publications, regulations and directives. Communicates and coordinates with the host nation Ministry of Defense, Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF), the US Embassy, AFRICOM and its components on Security Cooperation matters. Acts as driver for Office of Security Cooperation (OSC), ensures cleanness and maintenance of vehicle fleet, serves as Office of Security Cooperation vehicle dispatcher.

Qualification Requirements
1. Education & Experience
- Education: Completion of at least two years of college/university studies is required.
- Experience: Three (3) years of progressive work experience in clerical or administrative fields is required.
2. Language Skills
- English: Good working knowledge (Speaking/Reading/Writing).
- Amharic: Good working knowledge (Speaking/Reading/Writing).
- *Language skills may be tested.
3. Technical Skills & Driving
- Driving License: Must have a valid Grade 2 driver’s license for a minimum of five (5) years.
- Must be able to operate and maintain a Non-Tactical Vehicle.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word).
- Ability to type and develop graphics/materials for briefings.
4. Job Knowledge
- Knowledge of Ethiopian security culture and political environment.
- Understanding of U.S. security cooperation initiatives.
