Estimated Compensation:
- Monthly Salary Range: Approx. 85,000 ETB – 110,000+ ETB (Tax-Free / Dependent on Experience & Step).

Main Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head of M&E, the officer will:
- System Development: Develop Country Office M&E plans aligned with WFP corporate standards.
- Evidence Generation: Generate quality evidence on beneficiary lives to inform policy and programme design.
- Data Analysis: Create user-friendly dashboards, infographics, and reports using tools like Excel, SPSS, or Power BI.
- Capacity Building: Train WFP staff and partners on monitoring tools and data collection.
- Assessment Leadership: Lead baseline surveys, post-distribution monitoring (PDM), and endline surveys.
Educational & Experience Requirements
🎓 Education
- Advanced University Degree (Master’s): In Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Economics, Performance Management, or related fields.
- OR First University Degree (Bachelor’s): With additional years of relevant work experience.
💼 Experience
- At least 3 years of professional postgraduate experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Experience in coordinating M&E activities and conducting data analysis.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis software (Excel, SPSS, Stata, or R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
