Ahadu Bank S.C. wishes to invite qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Jimma’s Customer Service Officer -I

Responsibilities and duties:

• Is in charge of making/checking front office customer service support at the branch.

• Responsible for account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, and customer service.

• Handles all customer requests and cash and non-cash transactions at the branch.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in banking and insurance, accounting, management, economics, business administration, or a related field.

Experience is required.

1 (one) year relevant banking experience

Competencies Needed:

Understands the fundamental mechanisms underlying general financial products and services.

Good understanding of the bank’s accounting and procedures.

Capable of responding to basic client inquiries and instructions, as well as advising and resolving most issues and requests.

Excel skills are second to none. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, as well as a solid understanding of the core banking system

Position 2: Jimma Customer Service Officer -II

Responsibilities and duties:

2 (Two) Years of Relevant Bank Experience

Competencies Needed:

• Understands the fundamental mechanisms underlying general financial products and services.

• Thorough understanding of the bank’s accounting and procedures.

• The ability to respond to basic client inquiries and instructions, as well as advise and resolve most issues and requests.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, as well as a solid understanding of the core banking system

Position 3: Jimma’s Senior Customer Service Officer

Responsibilities and duties:

• At the Branch, provides front-office customer service support.

• Deals with account management transactions

• Attend to customer inquiries

• Handles all customer requests and cash and non-cash transactions at the branch.

Educations:

Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study.

Experience is required.

5 (five) years of relevant banking experience

Competencies Needed:

• Understands the fundamental mechanisms underlying general financial products and services.

• Thorough understanding of the bank’s accounting and procedures.

• The ability to respond to basic client inquiries and instructions, as well as advise and resolve most issues and requests.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, as well as a solid understanding of the core banking system

Position 4: Jimma Branch Manager I

Responsibilities and duties:

The Branch Manager is in charge of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the banking activities of a branch office. S/he will ensure that all staff follow the Bank’s operating procedures, rules, and code of practises, as well as regulatory directives and country law. He or she will also coordinate the branch’s sales and business development efforts.

The Branch Manager will also be in charge of customer service initiatives and operational excellence in the branch. He or she will create and submit the annual budget, work plan, and activity and progress reports. The job holder will also participate in various community activities and maintain close contact with the business community to promote the Bank’s services.

Qualifications required:

A bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, accounting, management, economics, business administration, or a related field of study is required.

Experience Required:

A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in a bank, including one (1) year as a Customer Service Manager or equivalent role.

Candidates for managerial positions must have the following key competencies and skills:

• Excellent teamwork and analytical abilities

• The ability to work under duress

• Thorough understanding of modern management techniques;

• Superior organisational abilities;

• The ability to assign and manage sales targets and production goals to employees.

• Understanding of commercial business law, as well as industry rules and regulations;

• Results-oriented and customer-focused

• Capabilities in leadership and human resource management
