Under the direction of a highly skilled and respected dentist, Dr. Senait Habte, who attended the esteemed Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts, USA, the Dr. Senait Dental Clinic opened in Addis Ababa in 2016. Dr. Senait, who was born and raised in Addis Ababa, moved to the US to continue his studies.
Dr. Senait worked as a McNair Scholar in medical research after earning her Bachelor of Science from Indiana-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in Indianapolis, Indiana. She then attended Tufts University to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Prior to moving to Ethiopia, Dr. Senait was a dentist in the US. Her objective was to provide her native country with high-quality, cutting-edge dental care services.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
- Provide advice and emotional support.
- Assist surgeons during surgery.
- Complete paperwork relating to patient care and progress.
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
- Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
- Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
- Providing great patient care.
- Recording treatment information in patient records
