Ethiopian Ministry of Revenues Job Vacancy 2023

After the former minister, Hon. Mr. Lake Ayalew, granted permission for him to study abroad, Honourable Mrs. Aynalem Nigusie, a former vice president of the University of Wolo, Ministry of Agriculture, and Economic Cluster Coordinator in the Amhara Region, was appointed as the Minister of Revenue on August 19, 2023.

In his speech during the transfer of authority, Mr. Lake Ayalew expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Revenue’s top officials and staff for their assistance in carrying out their roles during his visit. Furthermore, he said, “I am thankful that I have been given the permission to study abroad so that I can serve the country and the people more.”

Honourable Ato Lake also sent a message stating that senior leaders and staff members of the institution are expected to work responsibly and sincerely alongside the new minister in order to accomplish the country’s vision of covering our own expenses with our income by 2023 and to effectively carry out the institution’s plan to collect more than 450 billion birr in the 2015 fiscal year.

The institution has a strong organisational structure and operating system, according to Honourable Mrs. Aynalem Nigusie, who was appointed as the institution’s minister. The revenue collection performance is also continuously improving, so this is a good opportunity for us to not only continue this success but also to achieve more than planned to collect in the fiscal year 2015 and to meet the expectations of our country and our people.

She said that the institution’s executives and staff were required to collaborate with a strong sense of duty in order to create a nation capable of supporting its own development expenses.
