Post 1: Addis Ababa Branch Manager I

Job Specifications

 

A branch office’s banking operations will be planned, coordinated, led, and overseen by the branch manager. He or she will make sure that all employees follow the country’s legal requirements, regulator orders, and the Bank’s operating procedures, rules, and code of practises. Additionally, s/he will oversee the branch’s business development and sales initiatives.

In addition, the branch manager will oversee operational excellence within the branch and spearhead customer service initiatives. Annual budgets, work plans, and activity and progress reports will be prepared and submitted by him or her. Along with actively promoting the Bank’s services, the jobholder will stay in close contact with the business community and take part in a variety of community events.

Job prerequisites

 

Essential Requirement:

 

a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, management, banking and finance, or a related field of study.

 

Experience Requirement:

 

a minimum of seven (7) years of bank-related professional experience, with one (1) year spent in a customer service manager or similar position.

 

Applicants for managerial roles must have the following essential abilities and competencies:

 

outstanding capacity for teamwork and analysis

Capacity to function under pressure

adequate familiarity with contemporary management methods;

outstanding aptitude for organisation;

the capacity to assign staff members sales targets and production goals and oversee their accomplishment;

understanding of sector norms and regulations as well as commercial business law;

Result-oriented and client-centered

Both human resource management and leadership abilities
